I appreciate your insights on the Hebrew term for prophet as well as the historical fact that Nineveh continued in her wicked ways shortly after repenting. Thank you.

Heidi,
Acceptance is a theme that we all could benefit from. I think that your writings are inspiring, whether they be about politics or the plight of individuals.

I am looking forward to how you weave this awareness into our spiritual being.

Thanks for sharing,

Sitting here in orange, ca, I found your post so very enlightening and provocative. Can't wait until next January when we from tbs will have you with us on the arza tour. May we all bring open hearts and minds to the challenge of greater understanding vis a vis the Israeli-palestinian issues in real -time 2011-12.

We really enjoyed our visit to Isreal and hope that peace will be achieved.

I cannot believe, however, that you can parachute Isreali settlers into the West Bank surrrounded by the Isreali military to protect them among many more hostile Arabs and have peace...it will be a constant source of friction and result in either Jewish or Arab expulsion from the area

Be safe and come home safely

As a resident of Jerusalem who has met with Palestinians, I hope that Guy has afforded himself the opportunity to meet with Israelis. He will find us to be warm hearted and generous as well. Just as we have to stop stereotyping Palestinians as terrorists, it is important to stop stereotyping Israelis as Human Rights abusers. The situation is far to complex and nuanced to simplify it as black and white as that. Peace will come when we can get beyond that.

Dear Guy,
Thank you so much. As you might have missed from the post, we did get off our bulletproof bus and meet with the developer and workers in Rawabi. You are absolutely correct, they are very warm and interesting to speak to. Thank you for your blog address. I look forward to reading more about your experiences for a month vs the 8 hours we had.
Shalom

I writing this from the West Bank where I've spent the past month. My suggestion to you is that you get off your bullet proof bus and really travel the West Bank. It is perfectly safe and you will have the opportunity to learn what warm hearted, generous, and dignified people the Palestinians are. If you're interested I can recommend some reading material too, including books that explain how the Israeli government has been flaunting International Law and the UN Convention on Human Rights for over 60 years. If you want to read a couple of blog posts about my experience, check out www.guybenintendi.blogspot.com.
Best wishes, Guy
